Rob DiVincenzo is an award-winning leader, public relations and communications professional, and American visual artist passionate about shaping stakeholder perception. For over 15 years, Rob has built and directed creative strategies and innovative educational programming that has guided organizations through periods of significant change. With a unique perspective gained through tenure at leading organizations, Rob provides strategic counsel across various specialties as a freelance Creative Director. He has helped clients—including high-profile Broadway and TV/Film talent—evolve, promote, and protect their brands and reputations, driving meaningful business outcomes for stakeholders. Rob's promise is always to deliver intelligent, creative, audience-first solutions that drive impact for clients.
A native of Haverhill, MA, famously known as the birthplace of poet John Greenleaf Whittier and the historical roots of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tradition, Rob found great interest in performing and athletics at an early age. However, extra-curricular activities like gymnastics, music, and dance became too expensive for his struggling parents. With boundless energy perfect for the trampoline, he taught himself tumbling in his own backyard. At age 16, Rob joined his high school's cheerleading team, becoming the city of Haverhill's first male cheerleader and setting the trend for others to follow the immediate year after and even to this day. Since then, he has been an inspiration to many and has achieved incredible success and recognition as a visionary coach.
In 2013, one of his teams, with just over a year of training and competition experience, earned some of the cheerleading industry's most sought-after awards, including innovative choreography and grand champion. The team also secured a coveted paid bid, valued at nearly $20K, to The Summit, a highly competitive and invite-only national event where only the top 10% of teams in the country qualify to compete. This distinction and veritable triumph was a defining moment in Rob's career for two reasons. Firstly, the awards marked an unprecedented achievement in the Northeast and U.S., as divisions did not yet exist regarding a program's overall enrollment size. Secondly, despite the small size of the inexperienced program, the team managed to win every award category at a single awards ceremony, surpassing over 200 teams, including some of the country's largest and most established, respected programs. Subsequently, Rob's programs and teams have become widely heralded as the fastest progressing in the Northeast and U.S. across a multi-billion dollar industry, ranking in the top 2% nationally and retaining a 98% average retention rate, which speaks to his leadership, quality work, and singular talents, as well as his careful attention to safety, technique, detail, and artistry.
Since founding DiVincenzo By Design in 2009, when Rob took his passion for performance and much-lauded expertise in acrobatics to the entrepreneurial stage, the consultancy has evolved to supporting client initiatives beyond the realm of cheerleading and acrobatics, including hotels, restaurants, and entertainment production companies. With a career rooted in creativity and discipline, Rob's resolve continues to champion collaboration and the profound joy it brings to every endeavor.
Rob graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in marketing communications from Emerson College.
